Updates from the Studio and Upcoming Events Wishing everyone a lovely summer and I hope that you can join me for some upcoming events. Also, a little update of what I will be working on in the studio. Now that I have finished my series of paintings, "Conceptual Interpretations of Family", I will be working on my next project called "Scarecrow"; a commentary on social issues as seen through my experiences and vision as a professional artist, millennial, and independent woman. Now more than ever, I feel the need to express the American (and really global) zeitgeist, and the expanding Diaspora of the world. I am collaborating on this project with Erin O'Leary (Erin O Photo), an extremely talented and equally passionate photographer.  The subjects will include figures and interior scenes that convey conceptual and evocative responses to the social climate we live in.   Join us at the South Shore Art Center Friday, July 15th from 6-8 PM for the opening of their "Blue Ribbon Members' Show".  My piece "Self Portrait in a Blue Dress" will be on display through August 21st.   For the month of August about 20 of my pieces will be hanging in Hingham at Diana Aveni's Framing Concepts Gallery.  Stop by during open hours (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday 10-6, Tuesday 10-8, and Sunday 10-5).  Opening reception TBA
