Painting with Mary Callahan

WELCOME

Welcome to Artventures Tours, where we are dedicated to providing
unique opportunities to paint in some of the most beautiful venues around the globe.

PAINTING IN PROVENCE

We are currently accepting reservations for our September trip to Provence,
which is scheduled for departure on September 16, returning on September 26th.

The trip will be hosted by Gini Hayes, a world traveler and bilingual guide and
Mary Callahan painting instructor at SSAC and the NRAS. Mary is a director of the
New England Watercolor Society, Copley Master in the Copley Society of Art and
much more.

We will spend our first and last nights in Nice, one of the Riviera's most intriguing
cities, and one week at the charming Hotel La Garigue, nestled in the countryside
between Venasque and L'Isle sur la Sorgue, two of the most memorable towns of
Luberon. Amenities of the hotel include a swimming pool and lush gardens, and
breakfast and dinner will be served there each day.

During your stay, you will have the option of painting in Roussillon, Venasque,
L'Isle sur la Sorgue or the spectacular hill towns of Gordes and Bonnieux,
and you will come to understand why so many artists before you have flocked here
to drink in the famous Luberon light. Follow in the footsteps of Cezanne and fill
your soul with the timeless rhythm of village life. Sip the wine, sample the
cuisine, and savor the memories.
