The Narrows Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of work curated by Sue Aygarn-Kowalski.“Seasoned Palette: Artists with an Appetite for Nature” will be on exhibition in the Narrows Gallery through the month of January, 2010.

Fourteen artists will exhibit thematic works inspired by nature's quiet grandeur revolving around the earth, water, and sky in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor.

he Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The public is cordially invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free.

The Narrows Gallery is located in the Narrows Center for the Arts, 16 Anawan Street, Fall River, MA. Gallery Hours are Wednesday – Saturday, noon – 5:00 and by appointment. Admission is free during regular Gallery Hours. All concert ticket-holders are welcome to view the exhibition on performance night. Paula will have a solo show at the Pratt Library in Cohasset during the months of Jauary and February, 2010. This is a satellite location for gallery artists of the South Shore Art Center. Opening reception TBA.

18^th Annual Open Studios

November 21 & 22, 11 am – 5 pm

The 4^th floor artists are now gearing up for their 18the annual Open Studios located in 2 neighboring buildings. The group has grown since last year to approximately 55 artists.

The 4^th Floor Artists are located in the ET Wright Building, 379 Liberty St., Rockland and in the American Sandpaper Co., 83 E. Water St. Rockland. This is a not to be missed event featuring something for the entire family. In each building you will be able to see artists working and demonstrating in their studios, see displays of their work, do a little holiday shopping, and enjoy tasty refreshments. Maps and artists lists will be available in each building.

The artists include painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, graphic designers, interior designers, architects, fiber artists, woodworkers, potters, and performing arts. There is something for everyone’s taste and pocketbook.

A special event this year is an “Off the Wall” exhibit featuring small works by the artists for one very nominal fee. 10% of the proceeds of the fundraiser will go to “Rockland Holiday Magic” a local group helping needy families at Christmas.

Plenty of free parking at both locations. The ET Wright building is handicapped accessible.

So come and enjoy all the artists have to offer! You’ll be glad you did.
