Kathy Mullins Mogayzel received an Honorable Mention for printmaking in the Plymouth Arts Guild 43rd Annual Juried Show for "Breaker"

An Honorable Mention at the Natural Science Center's annual juried show "Through the Garden Gate" for her monoprint "Bird in my Garden".

She recently showed work in:

"Unique Impressions" 25th Anniversary Monoprint Guild on NE Show, Falmouth MA - abstract monoprint "Inner Earth",

"A Different Vision", Plymouth Arts Guild special show of tactile art for the visually impaired - mixed media "Metallic Robin's Nest".

Currently in Duxbury Art Association;s "Spirit in the Material World" = abstract monoprint "Tree Spirits"

She also has an ongoing diplay of her work at the Front St. Gallery in Scituate where she is serving as director.

Open Studios

It's Open Studio time. Our 19th annual event will take place on November 20 & 21, 2010. 11 am - 5 pm each day.

60+ artists between 2 neighboring buildings in Rockland, MA. Talk to the artists in their work spaces, view works in progress, works for sale, demos, and enjoy the refreshments. Join Massachusetts artists Anne Conte and Jeanne Wiley

for a discussion unveiling the design inspiration behind the

“Woven Car,” an old, rusted MG Midget that was given a new life and

identity with recycled and overstock materials. The interior of the

car was transformed with sleek DuPont™ Corian® seats, windshield

frame and floor mats, while pale gold seatbelts were woven

to create a checkerboard pattern around the body of the car.

The unconventional design generated buzz among the architecture

and design community nationally and internationally, and

caught the attention of top media including

Fast Company, Inhabitat, Core77 and Contract.

Greg Treleaven exhibit

Don is part of a group exhibit "just trees". The exhibit is in the gallery at Art & Soul Space, 11 Hollett St. Scituate, MA. The exhibit will run through the month of September. The oil painting pictured "Foggy Morn" is included in the show.

2nd prize for Corey

Maggie MacLellan's dog "Eddie" was the subject matter of Corey Ritch's photograph. Her photo placed second out of 1300 entries in the Pampered Puppy photo contest. He is an unusual dog with one ear up and one down. Here is the photo.
